Caravans selling chips in Kenmare

    What is the story with the mobiles selling chips in the bottom of the town? One has flashing beacons on top and on the gas bottles, I only come down to Kenmare a few times a year but these caravans are tacky and bringing the place down.
    Why are they allowed there?

    think theres some old market law which permits this. In fairness both serve good chips and seem to be nice people. hard to call when street food is tacky / quirky / a charming feature
