Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    ....summer is here, and it's time to kickstart the bike season !

    Thanks to the valued support of local business Supermac's, we have arranged a fun day out for all the family at the Galway Plaza - Junction 16 on the M6 (Loughrea exit)

    Stunt star Mattie Griffin is in attendance all day putting his trademark world-leading shows throughout the day from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.

    In the morning, join the members & friends of Blood Bike West on a leisurely ride out on the Sunday morning, arriving back in the Galway Plaza before 02:00pm on to partake in a festive rally of motorcycles and motorcyclists - for all the family.



    Sign-on for the ride-out is from 10:00 am at the Galway Plaza. Contributions are Riders €20 and pillions €10 per head, and this includes a meal voucher for use at the Plaza on the Day.

    The ride out will leave the Plaze promptly at 11:30 and arrive back at the Plaza at 01:30.

    If you can't make the ride out, come along for the afternoon and for the Contribution above Supermacs will make sure you're looked after on the food front.

    Don't have a bike ? - not a problem -come along browse the bikes on show and meet the people and enjoy the day.

    Members of Blood Bike West will be around all day to answer any questions and tell you all about the work we do and the people who benefit from tim.

    We've even booked the sunshine !

    It's a show as in you turn up before or after the run, park up and kick tyres while watching local lad mattie griffin throw shapes for the crowd
    Bikergear.ie will have a stand there to buy bits from
    Galway motorcycle school will have a stand
    True north bike tours will have a stand

    And we are working on more as we speak!

    Less Than a week to go now lads! Route for the run out was done this weekend and will be about 2hrs long and back in plenty time for Mattie griffin
    Oh and there's a subsidised breakfast before we head off as well
