    Can anyone recommend somewhere good in Portlaoise to get car serviced at a reasonable price thanks

    Both of above are >8km from Portlaoise - if you're looking for Portlaoise specifically, I can recommend Robert @ http://rpmotors.ie/ on Mountmellick Road.

    To be fair, if the car can't make it 5 mins out the road for a service, OP has bigger problems. :D

    Yeah but no but yeah but but but.....
    How is she supposed to get back from Colt to Portlaoise?
    I've stopped picking up hitchhikers after the last time :eek:

    If it's Daltons they will drop you back into town/collect you afterwards in my experience.
