Hi guys, i am looking at getting a gaming pc, had a quick look in pc world and maplins online but they seemed way over priced, i want to be able to play games like csgo and call of duty, my son is also aspiring to be a youtuber. Now the last time i went near the inside of a pc was about 12 years ago when i was doing work experience in a computer shop, but from what I remember most things just seemed to clip together, so I am going to take the risk and try and build one myself but I don't really know what specs I need, my budget is about 800 euro, if any one could tell me what the best components I should get, it would be greatly appreciated, PS this will be built from scratch

Thanks digital solitude, I've noticed a lot of people use mind factory, is there any Irish or UK suppliers that are as competitive in price

Absolutely none, it's why they're used. If you don't mind a 10-15% price hike Amazon may be worth it for the great customer service just in case.

If you go mindfactory same parts above. Don't get case on mindfactory I think they add an extra charge on delivery.

You can pick up a copy of Windows on adverts or reddit for around 15 to 25 euro.

Go with mindfactory.de if you can i was bit nervous ordering off them because they were German but I ordered Monday morning then I picked a stick of ram that was out of stock for a week so email them they replied in English and my build was dispatched withing 2 hours and had it on Thursday.

Stick prices up on that tom.

Quick glance you might have gone abit overboard with psu. (not a bad thing but not totally necessary for the budget)

The motherboard can come down some.

The hard drive. Get a western digital should be about 50 for 1tb.

Regards cooling system a decent cpu cooler 30-40 euro.

If you pick the right case wont need to stress about cooling /noise.

Get a crucial bx 240 gb is 60 euro no huge difference in price.

Your build is solid. Just need a cpu cooler. And good case.
