Maximum daily Visa debit withdrawal?

    Hi guys, I need to take out a fair amount of cash ahead of a wedding and was wondering what the daily limit is on a Visa debit card and whether I'd be better off heading to a branch.

    Thank you for contacting us here on Boards.
     
    You can withdraw €700.00 at the ATM machine and can use your Visa Debit card at a Point of Sale transaction up to the available funds in your account. However if you need to withdraw more than €700 in cash please contact any Bank of Ireland branch and they will be happy to help you. If withdrawing more than €5K you would need to provide 24hrs notice.

    Please bring photo ID with you.
