My Mother has a "Account Payee Only" An Post cheque. Can you please tell me what is the easiest way to lodge it to her BOI account? Will she need ID or an account card (I don't think she has one). Thank you.

    Good Afternoon VanZan,

Thank you for getting in contact with us here.

As the cheque is marked as 'Account Payee Only' it will need to be lodged directly to your mum's account. She can do this at any Bank of Ireland lodgement ATM in branch. For locations of external lodgement machines please see here

She will need a Visa Debit card to lodge at the machines. If she does not hold a card for the account, she can lodge the cheque over the counter during branch opening hours. Domestic cheques will take up to 5 working days to clear on the account.

I hope this helps and if you need anything else, please don't hesitate to post again.
    Elaine
