Just bring on all the guests for the rest of the show at the same time. Get the Hoff to do a sing song with Damo.

    Ah, Erika Eleniak :D

Who remembers THAT scene from 'Under Siege'?

Every cake on every occasion since has been a huge disappointment.

Ray shudda piped in there to explain who Bertie was to the Hoff. He hadn't a rashers.

They're free to air, those CBS channels

Quite good as well, better than the modern stuff a lot of the time. A lot of old good shows on there.
Only last year, there was a channel on Sky called more>movies - they showed the first two series of 'Baywatch' :)

The Hoff and Tom Selleck should get together for a new TV detective series.

    I'd greenlight it.

The Hoff is great isnt he. Casual as you like having a few oul jokes. I'd say he feels like he's down the parish hall or something.

David Hasselhoff, officially the best guest ever on the Ray Darcy show.

Who remembers THAT scene from 'Under Siege'?

Mentioned to a bunch of mates the other day that Under Siege was on telly.

Wasn't 5 seconds before the reply came back.

    "The cake! The cake!"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,523 ✭✭✭tinpib

To be fair that was extremely quick and to the point with Nicky Byrne.

Where were those two woman going at the break, down the steps?

to the jacks or to jump the hoff, or are they the guests after the break

In fairness the interview has picked up a bit the last few minutes.

I think RTE should really explore the avenue of having a few guests on the couch at the same time on occasions. It creates for a more natural "having a chat" atmosphere and takes the pressure off an oft out of their depth Tubs and Darcy.

Not every guest of course! Sure an interview with Mary with the four amputated limbs wouldnt exactly work with Jedward sitting beside her!

    Is Hoffenheim named after him?

Hard to believe that film is nearly 25 years old. That cake scene was the only good thing about that film.

Did you see the JNLR figures Ray, he'll be off for good fairly shortly.

Jees for a min, i thought it was Jedward's missing brother with similar haircut:D

Who remembers THAT scene from 'Under Siege'?

Birthday Suit & Cake, rest of the film was a filling, i mean filler ;)
Only last year, there was a channel on Sky called more>movies - they showed the first two series of 'Baywatch' :)

That's probably the channel, as the horror channel had other good shows too (Firefly & old Dr Who) but you wouldn't have thought of those channels in the first place for them shows!

I'm not a Dubs supporter but Bernard Brogan is a great modern day player.

I wouldn't say I hate him, but I really hope he finishes in last place in the Eurovision.

Even though he's a Dub, it's hard not to like Brogan. He's seems like a nice guy, under a lot of pressure and still puts in the big performances.

Tell him you played "a bit of rugby when you were younger Ray", he needs to know.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,930 ✭✭✭PeterTheEighth

Have to say that first item with Nicky Byrne and The Hoff was the closest that any RTE talk show has come to The Graham Norton Show in ten years. I mean we, the Irish, are MEANT to be funny. I dont understand how is it possible that both of our "flagship" talk shows are completely devoid of humour.

I read that Romania got knocked out, it didn't pay it's leccy bill or something like that!

Who's singing for the UK, as i heard that GrahamNorton is doing his tribute to El Tel, although one of the Euro heads hate him for his ascerbic wit on the Eurovision :D

We're very proud of him. For his down to earth soundness off the pitch, as well as his success on it.
