Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hah, everyone so quick to come in at big horrible Fellaini but not little darling Huth. Typical.

Scummy from Huth, scummy elbow fully warranted.

Fellaini is well deserving of a long ban at this stage. He's a danger to every fellow professional he steps onto the pitch with.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,501 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

I don't get United fans defending Fellaini, fair enough if he was a good player like Costa or Suarez who have that side to their game too, but he's been pretty poor whenever I've seen him play this season. You'll just end up playing with 10 men as soon as the refs wise up to him.

So the elbow is justified by the hair pull? Amazing.

And yes, Huth should've given away a dozen penalties this season. Doesn't mean he deserves an elbow to the chin.

He's been in the Premier League since 2008, when exactly do you think the refs will "wise up" to this newcomer?

    Keep on swingin', Fellaini.

If someone has a fist of your hair you deserve a smack for it. If you want to play dirty then expect something back. Stop being pretending to be outraged by it.

He has history in fairness. I don't think anyone is that upset at him. Just find it strange he is never punished

You think it's an anti United thing or something? If so, get over yourself.

Fellaini just happens to be a player who seems to do something very dangerous to opposing players with very high frequency.

I wonder how many of the people calling Fellaini "disgusting" defended Suarez to the hilt in the past. Oh the ironing.

He elbowed somebody in the head twice. People are annoyed about it. Stop acting incredulous.

Your faux outrage is pathetic.it wasn't a sneaky pull of the hair either but I guess that doesn't fit in with your agenda.

Very weak from Lingard, great refereeing. A quicker/stronger player would have made something of it.

Trying to justify Fel's behaviour by attributing it to faux outrage or other supporters is incredibly lazy.

What Huth did was bad, but nothing should justify throwing elbows like that. One can cause significantly more damage than the other. Hair pulling and elbowing someone full force in the face are not comparable, and it was a horrible thing to do.

Good call referee. Lingard was weak there

Anti United? Of course not. It was unbiased opinion of the incident. It's pure coincidence that every poster who doesn't support Utd forgot to mention Huth.

At least have the balls not to pretend otherwise.

Self defence against a few lost hairs at worst? Come on man, it was a blatant overreaction to a bit of dirty play. There's no way a hair pull ranks anywhere near as high as an elbow to the head.
