    Hi Just a question,
My partner is in defence forces 8 years, salary 35k +
I am self employed but only in business 18 months so I know I probably wont be able to apply for a year.
We are getting married in August, so havent been getting 'mortgage ready' watching accounts so there not in excellent condition, might be one or two bets online of €5, with, maybe one or two days being overdrawn by €10 or so when we dont have overdraft!
Thing is a house came up that we would love for just €90k. We would have the deposit of €10k, and would love to see what our chances are, with my partner applyin on his own.
We currently pay rent of €850 a month, and save €400 a month, with a loan of €25 a week.
If we were going for this mortgage, payments would be under €400 a month, its just not having the account in tip top condition is worrying me?

    Hi janandbren,

    Thanks for your post.

It would be best to discuss this with one of our mortgage advisers. If you send a PM with you name, address and phone number I'll arrange a call back for you at a time that suits.

    Thanks
    Janette
