My old computer was dying and it had a transfer speed of 3mbps and under USB to computer and visa versa

My new computer was 55mbps when i bought it last month (using the same USB) now its 1.5 MBps even 750 kbps

My computer is a pretty decent model faster in every aspect towards the old one.

    Anyone have any idea?

    windows 10

Are you copying lots of small files or just a few big ones? Small files transfer a lot less efficiently.

About 4 gbs but the computer (new one ) was able to handle that easy as pie, now not so much

In fairness you never mentioned file, just the amount of data.

Back OT. Have you changed the device you are transferring to?
