Ye there's about three or four that I see often and they are nice. When I first moved in, there was a really fat one that hung around. He looked like he hated me.

They lost the plot...kinda suggests a moment of insanity and rage....has happened to me before

I actually have never watched the whole film but it is associated with Christmas so I'll say yes.

It just makes the saying have new meaning. The thing you were trying to make disappear is still there or they could change it to "brush it under the mat."
