I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt because of your username but anyone other "comedians" will get a ban

I tried not to laugh at it .... but I failed . A worthy 'benefit of the doubt' I would say , and a Nigel Owens style decision by you :D

Normally I would have just deleted it but that'd probably result in loads of complaints so I left it, gowl would be more Galway than Limerick anyway

Nope, definitely a well used word in Limerick. 'He's some gowl' being a very popular phrase :D

Proper gowls prefer to spell it ghouls.

    Shannonsiders sounds about right.

People only pretend they said ghoul when they're 12 and their Mammy catches them swearing ;-)

    "WHAT did you just say?"
"Uh ghoul. Cause he's mean like a ghost? I didn't say the other word... swear!"

Gowls is definitely a Limerick thing.
Limerickans or Amazing either will suffice.

Da Kid , as in "a boy da kid"

In reality I'm sure it's Shannonsiders even if the Shannon snakes it's way through other counties. Kind of like "lee siders"

    Luimní.

At least that's what the commentators on TG4 call them.

Don't know how you'd do a singular of it.

Gowl would be used more often in Cork in my considerable experience of both cities.

There was a ban issued for that, normally it would have been deleted but people don't always like that.

Also, humour can be subjective and some people may take offence at the word gowl hence the warning.
