Good to see fans of other teams on here getting behind us

It helps that if City win the CL, and Pool win the EL, then United finishing 4th in the league would be quite funny.

    That's a shocker Kompany!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

He is nearly better off missing the euros and taking his time coming back from the injury

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,229 ✭✭✭marklazarcovic

his body cant cope with it anymore

Madrid with Kompany gone to win 3-0 ronaldo with two.

That is such a ****ing piss poor offside decision, what the ****

There's a big decision to be made about Vinnie in the summer. These muscle injuries are happening way too often now.

By and large I don't think they tend to rush him back; he's just made of glass. What's his longest consecutive run in the team over the past 2 years? I'd be amazed if it was >6/7 matches.

Have to wonder what the **** his training looks like

Yea without Kompany now it definitely swings in Madrids favour
    Moving from my 1v1 to a 2v1 or 3v1

Brilliant servant to the club but you can't have this happening over and over again

    Kompany should actually retire.

    I'm serious.

We need a new CB this summer. Would love to have him back, even with the injury problems.

Bale has really been vital to Madrid in the last month or so.

Yaya is offering absolutely nothing, city playing with 10 effectively

Can Ronaldo ever beat his man? All these step overs and still can't actually get by Fernando. Yet that's exactly what makes him a world class dribbler according to many on here

Good goal by Bale. At least he contributes to open play

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,469 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    Horrendous defending.

    Otamendi breaking the defensive line.

That's a bit of a mad assessment at this stage!! He's been fine thus far imo.

    Very fortunate goal for Real.

Would he slot right into Sligo Rovers' team mid-season or do you think he'd need a proper pre-season to settle in?

City leaving too much space down their left, they were asking for trouble. Carvagil had knocked a few crosses in prior to the goal.

Well in fairness he scores the odd goal or 2 also

Well when I've seen recently his just walking around offering nothing...how he can pop up and do something amazing but 95% of time his just lazy, my brother has seen him live 4 times, and has been saying it for years

    Just beat Sagna..

Ronaldo can't beat players anymore but he's still great at diving alright.

That's fine, he's been poor this season but hasn't been particularly culpable for anything in the first 20 minutes of THIS game

This is like last night, just in the sense that Real are clearly the better team from the start, but if it stays 1-0, you can always be sucker punched.

City just look like they're phoning in a performance. Ya Ya is just a disgrace

George Hamilton (I think!) with some witty banter

"Yaya is 33 next week. Wonder if they have a cake ready for him"

Is it just my stream or is there the most annoying whistling going on by the crowd. I literally had to mute my tv just in case it was the neighbours alarm going off, this is more annoying than vuvuzelas

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,434 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

De Bruyne is the worst performer thus far imo, not in the game at all

Yaya could have got that pass there but the man is so lazy.

Was just about to say the same thing. Watching on telly and the sound is awful.

    Got away with that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,695 ✭✭✭✭NIMAN

Doesn't have the feel of a semi at all.

    City very poor.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,469 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

It's gas. De Bruyne is having to do Yaya's tracking back. That's a complete waste. De Bruyne should be as close to Aguero on counter attacks as possible.
