Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why is de Bruyne on the left wing at all? Should be on the right.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,511 ✭✭✭Heisenberg1

Surprised by City's performance so far taught they would be well up for this very poor so far.

    What's the point of Navas?

He's brainless (just look at him giving Aguero no option there by running offside), and every one of his crosses hits the first man.

    Great pass there by Modric.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,855 ✭✭✭irishguitarlad

    What a ball from modric.

If you get to your 1st CL semi, at least have a go.

Some of those City players are a disgrace. Yaya needs the hook at halftime, they are playing with 10 men with him on.

    hmmmm 2 dicey offsides .... it´s starting ..

I'd like to think they're conserving energy to hit Madrid with everything they've got in the second half but the truth is they're just plain crap tonight, no strategy to it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

That was an awful ball from Clichy.

God modic is some player. Reminds me of scholes.

I just don't know how navas gets a game...he's a worse version of theo Walcott. He should be put into a wind tunnell and let loose.

Not leaders or heart in the team. Kompany off and that's it gone. Hart cares but he's stuck in goal

    Decent!

    Should have scored.

That needs to be on target

Great chance. You have to take those.

I think it's to a degree explainable - City only need to score once so stopping Madrid scoring twice is currently their main concern.

Was just about to say the same thing. Watching on telly and the sound is awful.

I think it's Real Madrid fans when City get the ball.

Some nice brisk passing from City and they get a half chance. They might do some damage if they can be arsed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,501 ✭✭✭✭martyos121

Half the match to go and they're already taking it the corner!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,161 ✭✭✭Cypher_sounds

Zidane will go into half time very worried. Finely balanced for a cracking second half

    Blue Moon ripping into Aguero.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,526 ✭✭✭✭Darkglasses

City still have a sniff of a chance but that's all. Need to sharpen up big time

Ronaldo holding his hamstring there at the end

The difference in quality between tonight's game and last night's is stark, atletico will dismantle either of these sides.

City have been awful, if they can't get up for a champs league semi final then Pep will need more than a scalpel to cure what ails them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,370 ✭✭✭MonkieSocks

City need to get Yaya off.

Aguero has no support from anyone running from midfield.

At least give him some support, even if only to disatract the Madrid defenders.

City are still in this, hold out for 15 mins second half, then have a right go at them.

=(:-) Me? I know who I am. I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude (-:)=

Has there been a worse 135 minutes of a champions league semi final before? Genuine question.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,855 ✭✭✭irishguitarlad

The thing is with Casemiro not playing Madrid can be got at.

Bale MOTM by a distance so far.

  • Registered Users Posts: 661 ✭✭✭derm0j073

That was outstanding from Hart, bailed his flat footed defenders out.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,299 ✭✭✭✭The Backwards Man

Do you think could Navas pick Aguero out of a police lineup?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,028 ✭✭✭✭SEPT 23 1989

Every fcuking ball toure plays is backwards

    No running at Madrid

What's up with Yaya Toure? He does not look right at all.

Can't decide if he is just not arsed or if he needs a sh*te the way he is running/jogging around the pitch.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

    Hart keeping this respectable.

    De Bruyne has been DREADFUL

Seems to be completely escaping criticism though
