Hi, Can anyone tell me if a gun safe MUST be bolted to a wall. I.E. Permanently fixed in place. Said safe will be situated in attic, and house is alarmed. Thanks

Or lay it down and bolt it to the floor if the floor is concrete.

Good idea if it was going in a basement, but I am afraid I am limited to attic.
