Can anyone tell me what this building is in temple bar?

I pass it every day, I thought for a long time it was abandoned but I've become to realise the gates on the template bar side at the pedestrian door are open during the day and close at night. I've also seen lights on inside that suggest it's in use for something. There are no signs that I can see on the building to…

Google maps says it's the Crown Alley Exchange.
