Well, well, for the first time ever pretty much every game of the last regular weekend in the Pro12 has something riding on it. No dead rubbers. This thread is for live updates as the games unfold on Saturday. Many posters will be at games, or won't be able to watch on TV, and will be keen for news on how their team/other teams are doing. Updates from around the grounds can be posted here, along with information on how this affects playoffs and European qualification.

Link to Matchday Live scores: http://www.pro12rugby.com/matchcentre/live.php#x9UBu5DO1u0L2wTA.97

    Current table after Round 21:

    Position|Team|Wins|Points
    1|Glasgow|14|71
    2|Connacht|14|69
    3|Leinster|15|68
    4|Ulster|13|64
    5|Scarlets|14|63
    6|Munster|12|58
    7|Ospreys|11|54
    8|Edinburgh|11|53
    9|Cardiff|10|52
    10|Dragons|4|26
    11|Treviso|3|20
    12|Zebre|4|19

Feel free to quote and update this table during the games for the benefit of posters who aren't able to watch. If posting a score update please include how this affects league positions. Thanks in advance to those who will post updates, from those of us who will be at games.

This is not a thread for discussing what a great try that was, or that so-and-so should have got a card for that. Or that a ref is cr@p, right awec? Score updates and changes to league standings only.

    That's a lovely table! ;)
It's going to be an enthralling day!

I think Leinster and Connacht will swap places but other than that the table will look very similar on Sunday, so we'll have:
Glasgow v Ulster and Leinster v Connacht in the semis, with Glasgow to win the title again.

I will be optimistic and go for

    1 Connacht
    2 Leinster
    3 Glasgow
    4 Ulster

I'll let your wilful disobedience of the "scores and updates only" instruction slide, but your penance is to update it for every single score during the games...

    Oops.

    Consider me suitably chastised.

Zebre on course to get European spot. Beating Dragons 17-3.

What happens if things stay as they are and all 4 Irish teams win?

Is an all Irish Top 4 a possibility?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 824 ✭✭✭sheep?

Half time, it's looking well for all 4 provinces. The Munster game is looking close from the small bits I've watched (the pains and joy of simultaneous kick-offs, correct me if I'm wrong). Also Connacht will need to start converting their general dominance. Can't get BBCNI where I am, but the Ulster game looks like a cracker.

No Munster cannot overtake Glasgow afaik.

I don't think so. I think the best Munster can get is Champions cup qualification.

As it stands, the other three are in play-offs though.

AJ is having an awesome game. He gets better and better overtime he plays. He and Aki are a serious combination. Glasgow seem to be getting the better of the refs decisions. When Connacht were defending on Glasgow's line the defending teams got all the calls. Connacht's defence has been massive. I was all set to slate Rodney when he came but in fairness he ant done too bad, bar giving away a pen. He made a couple of big hits. I would still be worried about I'm fading in the second half.

Yeah, BBCNI just showed the table as it is. Connacht and Leinster with the home SF against Glasgow and Ulster.

Munster in 6th at the moment.

Leinster get the bonus point, so should be the home semi-final now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Leinster just need Connacht to win without a bonus point now to get their 1st seeding, a Glasgow win would see a Leinster/Connacht semi in Dublin. (of course barring a huge turnaround from Treviso).

Italianwatch: Zebre hammering Dragons so will probably be in CC.

    Conn 7-7 Gla

    Level in galway.

A draw will still see Leinster top.

    Glasgow man in trouble here

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 23,934 Mod ✭✭✭✭TICKLE_ME_ELMO

    Ulster have the BP now.

Glasgow down to 14. Ulster bonus point.

    It's all coming up millhouse.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

    As it stands:
    1 Lein
    2 Gla
    3 Conn
    4 Uls

  • Site Banned Posts: 2,055 ✭✭✭Adbrowne

connacht down to 14 cos no more props

    edit - maybe not

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,304 ✭✭✭oneofakind32

While finishing top would be nice, I would be happy with the table as is. I feel Leinster at home is a better game for us(Connacht), with Leinster's current form.

Edinburgh losing to Cardiff now, good news for Munster

The current table will send Connacht to Glasgow though.

4th guaranteed for Ulster with that... I think.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

    Try Conn

Conn home to Glasgow now- open to correction

Twenty minutes for Connacht to two more tries against 14 men and top the table.

    It's very possible.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

    As it Stands:
    1. Lein
    2. Conn
    3. Gla
    4. Uls

    Lein v Uls
    Conn v Gla

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Looks certain now there'll be 4 Irish teams in the top 6 now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

    Leinster 50 - 19 Treviso
    Ospreys 26 - 46 Ulster

    Both results.

Leinster v Ulster in the RDS appears to be the first semi-final barring a miracle in Galway

Omg, I'm in the airport trying to hold it together. 3/4 in the playoffs and 4/4 in the European Cup... Irish rugby might not be dead yet. Hopefully no speaking too soon occurring here.

Well whether Irish rugby is thriving or just slightly less dead than the other celtic nations is entirely up to individual interpretation

I'm making a banner as we speak.

Munster win comfortably in the end. Shipped a few injuries though. Murray and Zebo both went off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Leinster will be keen to have Ulster down on the Friday night. I'm sure we'll hear very soon.

    A bidding process

So it's Leinster v Ulster and Connacht will entertain Glasgow again?

Guaranteed an Irish team in the final then. Good stuff.

Yep it's been confirmed from both sides. 20th May

Awful shame to only see one Welsh team in next years European Cup. If only there were more spaces allocated to the Pro 12, huh?

Is that both teams on the 20th?
