I was struck by the look of delight and relief on Ray D'Arcy's face when he announced that he would not have the pressure of preparing for the show next weekend. I think he's finding the show a huge burden.

Brendan had a far more relaxed attitude to the show, and look more at ease presenting. But D'Arcy always looks incredibly stressed out and just not very happy to be there.

I'm still gambling (and also hoping) that he will pack it in at the end of this season.

Just want to say a well done to Welsh Megaman who has been keeping the thread ticking over the last few weeks, when none of the rest of us could be bothered starting the thread.

I tried to start a thread the other week, but I was half way down through the guest list when I decided that it was a guest list that wasnt worthy of being fully typed out, never mind being watched.

RTE appear to be trying to save money when it comes to guests - the line-ups for both the LLS and Ray's show recently have been pretty woeful.

When was the last time a major a-list star appeared as a guest (excluding The Hoff!)?
