Nah pretty sure after Rafa had his "Facts" moments they didnt win for a month or so in the league, 08/09 was never really that much of a title race if we're honest, like you said they won 10 of their last 11 and still finished 4 points behind, I don't remember ever being worried in the slightest that they'd catch us

Think even Gerrard said it made him cringe watching it on T.V the first time, It made a difference in some way shape or form

Zlatan said just yesterday how good a relationship with Jose he had and what a great manager he is.
It's proven the 2 of them work fine together.

3 years later than I wanted - but delighted to see Jose is now the United manager. He has done a load of horrible things in the past, he can be a very unlikeable figure - but I see him as one of the best managers around.

I have a lot more faith in him (and Mendes) to get the deals required done than I did Moyes/LVG with Woodward.

Its going to be a very interesting summer, and season ahead.

I`m genuinely excited that this could be the beginning of a new era for the club.

The romantic in me hopes that Mourhino will finally have a gig that he will spend more than the usual 2-3 years at and be here perhaps 5 or more. Even if it is only the usual couple of years I`m very confident he will have us challenging again and winning.

It feels like the club has been in hibernation the last 3 years. Moyes was never going to be the answer and Van Gaal gave us false hope. Mourhino is the man that will shake of the club out of its slumber and drag it with him back to glory.

Its a fantastic day to be a Utd supporter.

there might not be a press conference until pre season.. not sure if they have time to fit one in. He is off to portugal Monday, back to old trafford for friendly game 5th june, canadian grand prix and then euros start
