Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mourinho seems to get it right with his strikers. Drogba, Costa, Milito and Benzema. It's probably the one area where I wouldn't question whoever he decides to go with this summer, even if it was to stick with Rooney.

By most accounts, he didn't want Falcao but Abramovich forced him upon the team :/ iirc, Jose wanted Griezzman.

All things considered I think it is more impressive, but it is open to debate.

To put a club back together and reach the top of the pile in Europe in the next ten years is one hell of a feat

Ya Google searches today make it no clearer where he's going.

You would think if it was Madrid it be bigger news

Good chance he is. Be surprised to see a keeper of the quality of Zieler who starts week in week out for his club and a German International opt for a place on the bench at Leicester. If that fee is accurate it's a great bit of business for the club.

I see Ash Fletcher scored in the playoff final for Barnsley. He has done fairly well on his loan spell.

If I'm honest I don't really want your man Aubameyang. He is 26 i think, he will cost a fortune, and his desire to play for Real Madrid is something i would rather live without.
I'm not gonna deny he looks like a serious talent but I think Martial and Rashford can be as good and with a Zlatan to carry the burden for a year or two to let them grow up I think id rather spend the money elsewhere.

Now that Saul Niquez guy, he is seriously good. Spend the money on him if you like, I wont complain.

The Sun are claiming "it is feared talks with the out of contract Swede may have hit a snag and that Mourinho could be looking elsewhere for a younger 'top striker' ".
The paper also says it s believed Mourinho will work with most of the squad inherited from LVG.

That is what Castles had in the Times last Night/Today.

Have no doubt Jose will get more out of the squad than LVG did, at the very least he will play the players in their natural positions. Much like Klopp at 'pool he will get more out of the squad he inherited. The squad is pretty good imo and just needs some key purchases. Really looking forward to next season, and considering how I was feeling 4 weeks ago that's saying something, believe me.

Is the general belief here that Zlatan is coming? I can't see it. Sounds like the press (and Zlatan) have fabricated this link.

    I'd be 75% it won't happen.

If he wants to come and Jose wants to sign him then why would there be any delay?

Though I will say Jose is only officially in the job since Friday and transfer dealings don't really take place over international weekends.

If by the end of this week nothing is agreed then it won't happen.

Friday as in he starts the end of next week? Or is he manager already.
