Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Twitter link say he is guilty.

Twitter link say he is innocent.

    Twitter say.....

Time will tell which Twitter is right until then people will be all a Twitter.

The police have stated this is the case. They said, today, they investigated De Gea and Munir and found no proof of any crimes.

It also doesn't mean that he is actually innocent - but in the eyes of the law he has no crime to answer for (at the moment - things may change)

They have issued a statement ? On an official Twitter or other such account ? Or are you just quoting some third party who may or may not have as much a clue about this as we do ?

Did Adam Johnson strike you as that kind of man?

People really need to stop rolling out this line. It's utterly irrelevant. I have no idea whether he is guilty of anything or not....nobody on here has, but I'm sure Graham Dwyer appeared like a nice quiet chap to his workmates too - it's utterly irrelevant.

Did everyone just miss the "in that way" part of the line that keeps being quoted or did i really have to say that it was based on his on field conduct?

De Gea didn't attend the Spanish Press Conference in the last hour and their PR man blocked all questions on the matter. Understandable all round.

    No smoke...........

    Absolute nonsense.

Not to say that he's innocent or guilty of whatever it is he's accused of (I'm not really sure), but to say that there's no smoke is to ignore many previous cases where there was smoke and no fire.

Just so I get this right, he's accused of arranging for his team mates to meet with an escort. That's it right? He never met the young lady as far as we know and we don't know if this lady in particular was underage.

No great if he did arrange it, but if she wasn't underage or he had no way of knowing that she was then it's not the worst crime in the world.

Spanish paper reported it. Funny how people believe the story that is convenient to then.

Nobody on here knows what he's accused of. Nobody on here knows if he's been accused of anything. People are going on Twitter reports from other people who don't know either, many of which contradict each other.

Amazingly RAWK and the mad Liverpool fans who generally reside there are talking about this (or where till the thread was locked) with more common sense than a lot of United fans. I know rivalry shouldn't matter with accusations like this, but you would imagine they would be quicker to blame and recriminate whereas most are saying wait and see.

I don't think anybody posted saying they think he's guilty... they've only posted saying if he is that its disgusting. Everyone has said if...

one poster said even if he did do what he's accused of its not a big deal... and then blamed the (potential) victim. Tbh i don't think i need to say potential as she's a protected witness in a horrible case that looks pretty open and shut (the non ddg parts of it) so she's a victim just not necessarily one of DDG.

REgardless people are going to talk about it as its a huge story.

Well I read the Marca article and that's what I got from it. There was some redacted official looking document there but it was in Spanish so I passed over it.

Liverpool fans have learned the hard way not to believe what you read in the papers.

Edit : That might not read as intended. What I mean is that Liverpool fans know since 1989, in particular, to never believe what you read in the papers in advance of anything being proven.

This is very true. Still though I clicked on there expecting the full force of that forum to be all over this but in fairness it's a reasoned response from most of them.

For Manchester United, or any employer in any walk of life, it's a desperately difficult time between the time an allegation like this is made public to the time it is proven to be false, proven to be true, or dropped altogether.

With this case police have no evidence to say de gea is in trouble? do they have the text conversation that he apparently had with the girl/woman?

It is kind of bizarre and awful and stomach churning to see the little hamsters spinning in their little wheels to make a badly performing player seem like a **** over nothing and a well performing player seem all sweetness and light over something that you would at least think warrants a bit of introspection.

Has he been charged with something then ?

Amazing how the story that he had been sent home gained so much traction so quickly and reported as fact and not just by twitter accounts but by the like of the Daily Mail.

In fairness from what i had seen on dm they said he was reportedly sent home. I think the sun ran away with themselves on it.

Hopefully its a good sign he gave a decent statement to media about it and attending the press conference which prople said he wouldnt.

It is a lie and a falsehood.

It gives me more reason to stay with Spain, in the company of my team-mates. It's in the hands of my lawyers.

I'm very calm. I'm just looking forward to going out to train and enjoying myself.

I've no idea where this has come from. I know it's all false.

Hopefully all of the allegations are false, similar to the situation with Johnny Evans a few years ago.

So many self-serving posts here causing hysteria.

"if it's true he deserves to spend time behind bars" - what is the point of saying something like that at this stage if not to try to grab attention or attempt to take a moral high ground. it's like throwing your brother to the lions at the first hint of his wrongdoing just so you can be looked upon as more noble.

It has been absolutely disgusting reading through the victim blaming and abundance of posts downplaying the crimes DDG was alleged to have committed.

There's nothing in it? Really? Threatening to physically hurt an underage trafficked girl unless she had sex with his mates is something that is nothing?

If the alleged is true then DDG is an absolutely toxic individual. I had to laugh at the poster claiming that DDG doesn't seem like the type! As if anyone here knows what any professional footballer is like.

where are you getting this from?!

Torbe is the guy who is under investigation and has been in jail since April.

I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't have a spot for Martial in that team, I can see him being in by the end of the group stages. He could have an unreal tournament with Grizemann, Payet & Pogba around him.

    Sorry, I should have clarified.

I stated in an earlier post I believe that these allegations are most likely untrue and I hope DDG is found innocent of all involvement but why was his name mentioned at all if he doesn't know the guy on trial?

Any of the press stories are as reliable as the others he has denied it.

    The daily mail say that.

David contacted the pimp dude about two girls to go meet two footballers.

Pimp dude tells girls to do everything they ask and they will get paid some say he treatened them.

Pimp dude does not pay the girls.

Two footballers allege assault the girls david de gea wasnt near them or ever meet them.

One of the girls msg de gea asking who the second footballer was but he wouldnt say.. donno how she got his number.

Another thing was mentioned that the pimp was ment to do a video of the girls before hand to send to the footballers and aleggedly de gea to see if they wanted them.

Four years after these events the pimp dude is arrested for child trafficking and child pornography some say one of these girls were found or freed when he was arrested.

This is what i read it is probably far from the truth too but its a version i read earlier in the mail and it seems the easiest to understand.

Ohh and bangkok still dont like fellaini and memphis dress style or choice of transport.
