Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would have been a good game to give Pereira a chance.

    Lovely!

Just need a goal every 24.4 seconds now to get CL.

Second half miles better than the first. Rooney had a great game. Martial did well for the first goal.mrashford took his chance very well. Second half salavged a very poor first half.

Now..onto the resignation speech please :P

For all the criticism Rooney gets, he is an intelligent user of the ball and at least looks like he wants to get it forward and make things happen. Probably finished as a striker, but not a bad backup to have upfront, at 10 or midfield. It's a pity his wages are so high because he would be well worth keeping otherwise.

Good sign for United if they can play in the FA cup like they have done in the 2nd half tonight.

Team selection justified tonight. And great confidence booster ahead of the final, especially for Rooney.

Could be a Lampard type component in a Mourinho team.

Really making his case to transition to his new role.

    Good stuff!!! 3-0

    Can't complain about that

    I will. I had 2-0 backed.

Weirdest reaction to a United goal I ever had. When Young was through, I shouted "Miss!" at the TV.

De Gea will definitely want out now.

Own goal costs De Gea his golden gloves with a minute to go

    Smalling turning into Carragher

lads some of you have such short term memories.

Rooney has played plenty of times in CM and has been awful. He's not a CM and your judging him against an woeful team

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,755 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

United can do nothing right, there goes De Gea's golden glove.

He will just have to stay another year to win it.

Feel sorry for De Gea at the end. Crap defending from Hererra. Crumbled under pressure.

I agree, but he deserved the man of the match tonight. I don't see him as a good option next season, but doesn't take away from the fact he played a role in all three games tonight.

What would make me happy over the next 7 days.

We win the cup on Saturday.

LVG and the club part company by mutual consent.

    Liverpool lose tomorrow night.

If im lucky I think 2 will happen but not all 3.

Beat Spurs with a 1-0 OG to start our PL campaign and end it conceding an OG in a 3-1 win.

It's a heinous crime to let that goal in at the end, my love for Ander is dead and buried with that blunder! Poor De Gea!

No talk about the disappointment of this season and a promise to do better next season. Promising.

Smalling? The best central defender at the club by a country mile. The best current English defender.

A standing ovation for LVG from the United fans. They seem to be totally behind him. No chance of him being ousted after that.

I am genuinely curious about this, its as if people have completely forgotten that this "Rooney in midfield" thing has happened before, more than once.
