House insurance - vacant property

    I am going abroad for at least a year and plan to leave my house vacant, aside from occasional visits home.
    I will be unable to continue with my current house insurance policy, as the house will be vacant, but am having difficulty in getting a quotation from another provider.
    Can anyone advise me as to what I can do to get basic cover?

    Go to brokers like Alan B kidd or OBF who do that cover
