    Hi I recently reopen an old savings account and got a card issued. It's a green card with no expiry date or no 3 digits on the back etc.

    I sent it to a family member in canada and she wasn't able to withdraw money.

    Can those cards only be used in Ireland ?

    Thank you for your post here on Boards.ie.

    A Bank of Ireland pass card on a regular savings account can only be used at a Bank of Ireland ATM,
    these type of cards will not work outside Ireland.
