    Hi All,
I’m hoping to get some advice please on Toddler Friendly accommodation somewhere in Kerry, Claire or Cork region. If there’s other places in Ireland outside of these that are really good we would consider travelling further.

We would have a 2 and 3 year old. The perfect scenario would be a self-catering apartment on the grounds of a hotel or within the hotel. Driving distance from nice places to visit during the day, an indoor and outdoor toddler play area, a swimming pool suitable for the kids and generally just somewhere generally really kid friendly. We would stay for 2 or 3 nights.

Any advice and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    L

We often rent a house of Valentia Island with 2 young kids.
We've also rented elsewhere without issue.

A mobile home in France is ideal and has been my favorite with the kids, they were 4 weeks,1,3 and 5 at the time.
We have done the package holidays etc too but they just had so much fun playing around outside.
Any holiday home that is near other people and has a safe space to play is ideal,we went to the Aran Islands with them last year 1,2,4,6 and they had an absolute ball and made loads of friends.

The quality hotel in clonakilty seems to meet your requirements. There's self catering apartments on the grounds, there's an indoor play area, cinema, and swimming pool. I'm not sure there's an out door play area on the grounds, but there's definitely one near by.

Castlemartyr have lovely self catering on site, the mews houses are a bit smaller but are much nearer the hotel so are good that way. They've a lovely pool, a small kids playroom, loads of room outside to run around and near enough to easily drive to beach etc. can be pricey though depending on when you're going.

Fota have houses too that are also supposed to be lovely.

Fota in cork is very good - cottages and a playground on site with a pool and the zoo close by

Quality Hotel in Youghal has self catering apartments and houses, two and three bedrooms. We stayed in the apartments before, they're pretty basic but have small oven/grill and microwave, toaster, kettle etc. Tv with the basic channels, DVD player can be requested. Food isn't great but lunch was fine. Right on the beach so nice for walks or building sandcastles if the weather is good. There's a playground there and a hotel pool which you can use, there's also a Perks casino/indoor play area just on way into Youghal which is good for wet days. It's is probably a 40 min walk along beach to Youghal but five min drive and plenty of options there food wise if don't feel like cooking.

The Gleneagle in Killarney also has self catering apartments, haven't stayed there yet but again have two bedroom anyway, possibly three bed as well not sure. Again it has small basic kitchen and living area, handy to relax when kids are in bed. Can use the pool etc in the Gleneagle also, food there again is basic but alright, but overpriced what you get but plenty more choice in Killarney.

lost of good places mentioned above,
we found a little gem last year. the conamara sands hotel in clifden. it has self catering homes beside the hotel but it also has awesome family rooms in the hotel. you get a living room a bathroom and two bedrooms, like a little apartment without the kitchen. the ground floor rooms open out onto a veranda that leads to a tennis court and beyond that a private beach.

the hotel is really family friendly with a great play room and a brilliant kids club, with activities every day and evening. out from that its a lovely hotel with great food and a cool bar.

the only downside is that there is no pool.
