Got caught in thunder shower, decided to enjoy it, and did! Looking at things like a kid would is refreshing sometimes.

Lying with my feet up on the sofa under pharmacists orders until can get to doc tomorrow. Don't know why my feet and ankles are so swollen that I can barely walk. I only had a short flight from Germany on Saturday and am in bits.

Not liking the look of the insect bites I got either and pharmacist reckons they are infected and will need an antibiotic.

Really could be doing without this when have college in Dublin tomorrow and a big job interview on Wednesday also in Dublin. This is gonna be a hectic week with work and cousins home from America too so being ill and confined to a bed or sofa is not ideal. :-(

On my bed in Kigali, Rwanda, boardsing and wondering if there's any truth to that thread about Ireland becoming more right wing.

We're socialist without the socialism. There's nothing to fear politically in Ireland unless you've money in your pocket.

Pigeon carrier is on its way with a box of Barry's tea and a pound of Kerrygold for ya. I can't guarantee that it won't eat the Taytos on the way over.

He'll be sick of the sight of you now if he has to see you every day. That's what happens a lot of relationships in retirement :D

*Waves back enthusiastically* Still in the same spot many many hours later. Time: 2:30 AM. I love Barry's and Kerrygold. Thank you! You wouldn't believe how much Kerrygold costs here. I don't mind if the pigeon eats the Taytos - I am not a huge fan anyway. As long as it doesn't touch my tea and butter, we're good.

I'll send you mountains of Rwandan coffee. It's some of the best. The dove will also carry over some Rwandan tea - it's in the same family as Yorkshire tea in terms of flavour.

Surfing on a wave of optimism after just arriving in work.

But I am not hopeful that this will last.
