Happy Birthday Witchie! I hope you're enjoying it and have a drink for me!

I'm in the leaba. I went out with the missus to a lovely Indian restaurant and we stuffed ourselves. I got all glammed up to go to the pub afterwards but she had a dodgy stomach after dinner so we were at home and in bed before midnight. Party animals here! Bed is so good though.

What a day! Went to the equator monument and fulfilled a childhood wish by having one foot either side of it.

Then went to the Sultans palace where I became a celebrity of sorts with a school tour group who wanted photos with me and sang happy birthday.

Just had a wild big feed and 1 beer in my room and am gonna hit the spa here for an hour and a half massage followed by hot tub and sauna.

Perfect day.

Just back in apartment after watching All-Ireland. Gutted for Mayo.

The loud Dublin lady in the pub where I watched it even had one English lad I chatted to cheering for Mayo.

I am just climbing into bed after one of the best days ever.

The spa was epic if a little odd. Was not expecting the therapist to get into the shower with me to wash off the body scrub and having her towel dry me! Last time a woman washed me it was my mother when I was a child.

Massage was great though and sauna and hot tub too.

Had a margarita and a beer and now am so chilled am gonna be asleep before I finish thi.....zzzzzzz

Just had a shower and put on a pair of flannel PJs and a big fluffy dressing gown, huddled under a blanket on the couch. I couldn't be more comfortable. Well, maybe if someone made me a hot chocolate

In bed, finally, long day. I'm absolutely gutted Mayo lost .. I was watching it on tv in crumlin ... on mute behind my tablet (mad men binge). I now understand why my dad used to go and walk around the garden when the crucial Meath matches were on.. Lol. The stress. I've been told the Dublin team will make an appearance in crumlin tomorrow. I must make more mayo ribbons and block out my corridor windows.

That spider is only looking for it's daddy, you know, the one you murdered last week and whose body is still on display to warn others. Either that or it's back for revenge. Sleep well :pac:

Was in bed but was woken by the music coming from an Irish bar about 150M away.
We had all the classics with a raucous crowd joining in.

Two things come to mind.
One how would the residents of Westport react if the town was kept awake by a couple of hundred Spanish playing Salsa music.
Two, do we have any right to complain about others not integrating in to our culture when they come to Ireland. (Very deep for this hour of the night, I know).

Still, did sound like those that were there enjoyed themselves. One woman is going to be hoarse until Christmas, which, given her voice, isn't a bad thing.

Anyway, it messed up my sleep which will impact on tomorrow so I'm ticked.

Getting ready to check out of my room and bum around a while before head for the airport home.

Been a blast but can't wait to get back to my wee apartment and get to see my sexy Turkish friend. Have missed him for the month he was away.

My back feels bruised. Yon massage therapist was some hallion for a tiny wee thing. Hope my paracetamol eases the pain a little so can have a relaxed flight back to KL.
