When you read where others are do you find yourself glad of where you are?

I am delighted to be where i am, I love the countryside, the views, the fresh air, the silence and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'll never be a city slicker :)

    Where are you fortyseven?

Living on a building site that should be a home. If I finish renovations I can get kids overnight but malicious ex will force sale the minute I finish using property adjustment order to make sure I can't have kids overnight. Can't sell as is, negative equity. Can't afford to rent anywhere big enough to have kids overnight even if I could sell and break even.

I'm between a rock and a hard place and it is consuming me.

Sometimes, until I read someone like anewme above. Then I just want to throw everything I own into my car and hit the road, destination anywhere.

So sorry to hear this. One thing I have learned in life though is generally these things do sort themselves out. It may be difficult at the moment but as long as you keep trying to show your kids that you are there for them, they will love you and one day they will understand the struggle and be glad that you fought for the right to spend time with them.

    Hugs.

Contemplating watching bambi. I've been weepy all day and I feel really sad. I think I need something to make me cry and get it out of my system. I never cry so my eyes feel like they're leaking.

Also completely gone off my food. Usually I'm going around the kitchen like pacman, and haven't been in form for eating or drinking so maybe I'm getting man flu, which would explain my sads all day. Just not myself.

The last few mouthfuls of a mug of coffee, when the settled coffee at the end swirls into lovely dark brown patterns in the paler coffee above. In the kitchen watching this, I'm easily amused :)

Out for a walk and watching the bunnies in a field playing with each other.

In work, but also listening to the dulcet tones of Richard Hawley.
His music makes anywhere and anytime seem just beautiful.

Sitting in front of my laptop waiting for an email to confirm an outage in a datacentre in France has been resolved so I can shutdown, pour a glass of whisky (Taking a break from Red Wine) and watch the last 2 episodes of Billions.

I love him. I've been listening to "Don't get hung up on your soul" the last few nights. I fall asleep to it.

Right now I'm in bed travelling around the internets.

Sitting in my car, in my parents driveway, with only 11 minutes left of laptop battery time ... so I guess I'll have to go inside soon ... sigh.

I don't people very well. I'd love to spend the rest of eternity alone on a desert island.

Go on inside to then :) I read your other post about being home and having a nice mammy dinner and a bit of tlc. You're lucky to have that.
It's a damn sight better than sleeping in your car.
