    Nice :) I'm not far from the wild Atlantic but my parents are right on it. The thump of the sea in your house is a wonderful thing.

    Just paid €24 for a glass of Middleton whisky in the hotel bar in Waterford. Very nice whisky, the barman poured out a measure in the glass and then added extra from the bottle.

    On a recliner in my parents' sitting room, fighting the need to go to bed because the fire in the fireplace has not gone out yet and it would be such a shame to waste it! I might read my book for an hour and then head to bed. I'm tempted to just stay here and snooze, though!
