Balancing precariously on the beam of uncertainty between a precipice of doom and a stairway of opportunity.

I've been in worse spots! :)

    Onwards and upwards.

In La La land. Or at least that seems to be what I woke up to this morning! President Trump? Seriously?

Trying to answer questions about the American election and politics from not only my Irish family and British work colleagues, but also from my American friends stationed overseas for work, school, and the military, and from my friends back in America since I am seen as something of a know-it-all. Since I am a known liberal, I seem to be designated therapist for everyone spooked by the Trump victory. I am getting zero work done.

Since everyone wants to know and nobody will ask, I voted absentee for Clinton, for all the good it did. Good American citizens will be working hard to mitigate the damage of the Trump administration. It would be nice if Europe got together and dealt with the rise of their own right wing. We're going to have our hands full for a while.
