I am in a bed meters away from where I first fell madly in love like that with my eldest and subsequently my youngest. It is a bit of a mad night for me as I just watched said youngest play his first Dublin gig in Fibber Magees where I spent my college years and time with his dad. I watched the gig with my ex's best friend who is also my youngest's godfather and was there when both my boys were born.

A real sentimental trip down memory lane, even with the thoughts of my last meal before I became a mum (A spicy bean burger meal in Burger King on O'Connell St before I headed to the Rotunda to bring my first born into the world), being meters from where he was conceived and sleeping in the hotel I worked in while in college and pregnant with him, it is very hard to believe that 22/23 years have gone by.

Merkin, soak up every second of this joy. It is the best moment in your life. Hugs.

Sitting up in bed feeling hungry but too warm and cosy to go to the kitchen to make breakfast. I wish someone would invent a replicator, I could make breakfast appear instantly at the touch of a button.

Sitting in a bar in Dublin CC just waiting on a mate. F**ker just text me to say he's running 40 mins late. The bar is packed and it's really awkward drinking alone hence I have my eyes on my phone reading boards.
