    Liverpool-vs-Chelsea-Prediction-and-Tips.jpg

This is it, the biggest game of the season. Liverpool are putting it all on the line in their battle for 6th place and they go up against a Chelsea side determined on securing 9th in the league.

No news yet on potential starting lineups but both clubs are expected to field 11 players.

Hopefully Liverpool go full strength, keep their players in form if possible and no injuries.

    Week then to prepare.

Im not sure fielding 11 at this time of year is wise.

OP, Its been moved to Sky Sports 2 with a 90 second pre match buildup.
Sky disgracefully hooked us to show Sunderland Everton nonsense in the SS1 slot instead.

Chelsea will want to spoil Liverpools party as usual.

I can understand why the Sunderland/Everton match is on Sky Sports1, theres more at stake.

No Ivanovic and Costa through injury, no Terry due to suspension.

Mikel probably playing CB and Liverpool to win by a one day cricket score.

Hopefully a repeat of the last time this was the final home game (without the penalty miss !!!)

Think Klopp said they will put out a strong side tonight. Probably rest players then at the weekend.

Should be fairly comfortable for Liverpool. I don't expect them to field a full strength team ahead of a European final but Chelsea couldn't beat an egg at the moment.

Game could go anyway in terms of result and it wouldn't surprise me. The only thing that would surprise me is a full tempo, blood and guts performance from either team.

I was actually going to post wondering why this game was live in the stead of the actually interesting and important game tonight.

Anyway, no injuries please. Game doesn't matter beyond that.

That wasn't a full strength Chelsea, Turnbull in goal ffs plus didn't want to give anything away ahead of the cup final, a reasonable sacrifice in the end thankfully

Tbh hope squad is changed up big time here too but give it a proper go win lose or draw, Liverpool won't want to send the fans away disappointed in the last home game but they have a final to look forward to.

It was 3 days after the cup final, but the reason I linked it was Mikel played CB that night & looks like he could again

Half the stadium was chanting for Maxi Rodriguez to take the penalty as it was his last game

Seeing as the Chelsea bordsies are trying the we don't care, we'll get stuffed reverse jinx, I might try it too.

Reckon, we're Shiite in the league and will get stuffed by this team.

    Have I done this right?

Close, all you're missing is Reus at left-back, Charlie Adams and a bag of cement in goal.

There's no way I'm copy and pasting typing up that whole list, no way.

I prefer the "pick any three" method.

The pick and mix approach. Much favoured by Rodgers.

Remember those three envelopes he showed the first day he arrived?

In-jokes, in all of them. Not "people who'd let the club down", nobody believed that.

I think what we really need to talk about is if Brendan was right or wrong in his assesment that we didn't need a new defensive coach. Also do we think he was responsible for the transfers. I don't think any of this has been covered in the forum before. Interested to here your opinions on the subject lads.

Also Chelsea will win this one. Milner to channel his inner Aspas and pass a corner straight to Mikel who runs the pitch for the 96th min winner.
