Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The moths killed Ronaldo

    Ronaldo's own fault.
He wanted to **** with Payet.
Payet did the only right thing, go for it and if you dont have the ball, make sure he feels it so he will not do it again.

So Paddy Power sent me 10 free spins for one of their silly slot games.

Spun them at half time to keep myself amused and won €25.

Withdrew €20, the amount I have staked on this final. :)

I am going to give France (-1) a shot when they make their first sub and tactical change - if they game is still 0-0 at that point.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,185 ✭✭✭tinodz

    France (-1) @ 7/1 it is then!

    Go Kingsley!

I can see Portugal nicking this.

Need Evra and Pepe booked in the next five minutes, Pepe to score the first goal and Griezemann to score after that.

    Not too much to ask?

Flirted with combining this and a Pepe red card but instead have gone with:

3-1 to France @20/1 and Portugal to win in ET @ 18/1

Gonna order me a pizza now, hopefully half the population of Mayo doesn't have the same simultaneous thought

    Nice win

Cheers. Cashed out at about €230 cos I couldn't endure the last ten minutes. :D

Griezemann POTT should be fairly solid despite the result no?

True but someone else would have had to really 'seize the day' tonight to usurp him and I don't think anyone did, best players on both sides wrre defensive but they're not gonna give it to Matuidi are they?

Any idea Player of the tournament? Im seeing Payet.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,346 ✭✭✭Lamposts

    1st: Dimitri Payet. France
Payet went top after his performance in the opening game against Romania and although the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Gareth Bale and Antoine Griezmann had spells at the summit, the France playmaker ended the final in pole position despite the hosts' defeat by Portugal.
    Also in the top five.

Was he 8/1 to win it today?

I like the sound of that. Where is the 26/1 market at?

It was under player specials on 888sport. Shame neither bet came in. Sorry if anyone followed.

It's been a profitable tournament for me, mainly due to draws, so going in again on the draw tonight after 90 mins. 21/10 Paddy.

Memorable stuff. For many, Portugal have been a pain in the ass. For me, they've been my very own ATM machine ;)

    All the best!

I'm not convinced that's the official pott, its just their 'player barometer' nonsense.

Is that not how it is decided? My 4, count them (de Bruyne what was I thinking:rolleyes:), POTT bets are still outstanding with Bet365 so maybe there's hope yet..

I'm pretty sure it isn't official. Haven't been paid out on it yet anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 888 ✭✭✭JonnyM

I haven't been paid out yet either. I was just going by newspaper article link above.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,862 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

On the UEFA site there is nothing about POTT.
    Young player > Renato Sanches
    Golden Boot > Griezmann
And that is on the maffia's website

To be fair, no one should be named as POTT. Not 1 player who was consistently good the entire tournament.
It was rubbish from beginning till the end.

Yeah 'West Ham star Dimitri Payet named Euro 2016 player of the tournament' sounds pretty definitive. Shoddy of the Standard if he isn't actually POTT

I would have been confident Greiz getting it after Payet doing sweet FA in the final, and later subbed off. He was 1/3 post match:(
