types of houses the council have on their books in cork

just wondered if anyone on here rents from cork county council(council house) or knows of anyone that does and could tell me what types and areas they are in.in particular does anyone rent a property in a "rural"area ?

From what I've seen the smaller towns and villages are more likely to have council estates/terraces.
