If you want a laugh (mixed with a distinct dash of terror), do a google image search for "Donald Trump tweet"

YouGov poll shows only 45% of voters believe her campaign’s version of events following illness at memorial event.

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/sep/13/us-voters-doubt-clintons-pneumonia-explanation-for-911-collapse-poll-shows?

On Friday, when she was diagnosed, her team released a report attesting to her fine health. This was a lie 3 days running by the time Sunday's episode happened. Every single explanation she ever gives "evolves" multiple times before they get it right. Same thing happened with the e-mail

There's a documentary series on Netflix "road to the Whitehouse" about presidential campaigns. Watched three of them so far and in every campaign both sides attack the health of their opponent. There is also one promising to keep "America safe" from whatever the threat of the day is.
It was an interesting show. The one on Dukakis and Bush was eye opening, didn't know about Biden and the plagiarism.

Trump just announced he will bring in 6 weeks paid maternity leave for mothers who work in places that do not provide paid maternity leave.
Plus increased child support payments, and other measures, paid for by an employment insurance levy.

And if this came from the other side it would be condemned as socialism.

It's turning into a real illustration why "none of the above" should appear on ballot papers...

I wonder what would have happened if it had been Bernie Sanders against Trump.

Hillary Clinton wants 12 weeks paternity leave paid for by higher taxes on the wealthy.
Democrat supporters say Trump's child care plan helps the rich as child care is tax deductible, but Trump's plan wants a national average to be used, probably to stop it being abused.
The claim on CNN by their analysts is Trump's proposals are what you see in some European countries, and not something one would associate with Republicans.

Trump's surrogates and advisors are interesting people. Always have to defend against any facts presented and keep a straight face.

So you find it funny the people of Libya that day lost.

    Free education.

    Free electricity.

    Free health care..

Married couples given $50,000 to buy their first home.

    Farmers given free land.

Too live in peace and look forward to a future?

Maybe the US should ditch the Republican Party entirely and move towards the model of the old Libyan socialist paradise.

The Democrats can stay to give the right wingers of the country a voice.

And with Trump in office it would have been the exact same, as he supported it too. Didn't stop him being in bed with Gaddafi though, who himself was an awful person and dictator who had many people killed and tortured. After all don't go trying to kid yourself, just like with the Saudis and Russians, Trump's very existence relies on the teet of Arab, Muslim and ex-Soviet blood money, before we get into his businesses' dependence on the mafia.

You'll need to find a less hypocritical angle of attack.

Lybia had resources, other than to just tax people.

For starters, there's the Dubai Trump International Golf Club and its legion of poorly-paid migrant labourers.

How did ghaddaffi get to be a good guy? He basically raped his country, made it a haven for terrorist organisations from around the world for years. Libya was the Worlds Bad Guy for decades.
    Remember the lockerbie bombing?
    And the yvonne fletcher shooting?

If you were poor in Libya you didn't starve to death. Same couldn't be be said for a lot of African countries back in the day where you had the freedom to die on the street.

There's also the irrigation projects. Compare the Great Man-Made River to UNICEF handing out imported bottled water

    http://www.globalresearch.ca/libya-from-africas-richest-state-under-gaddafi-to-failed-state-after-nato-intervention/5408740
In 1967 Colonel Gaddafi inherited one of the poorest nations in Africa; however, by the time he was assassinated, Gaddafi had turned Libya into Africa’s wealthiest nation. Libya had the highest GDP per capita and life expectancy on the continent. Less people lived below the poverty line than in the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, the population can only suffer. “Some people say they want to go back to the time of Gaddafi,” says the medical student. “I don’t. Where I want to go is out, out of the country.”

They lost a lunatic dictator who had no inhibition about murdering his adversories.

And gained a civil war. Why is that people in places such as Libya or Iraq have to die in vast numbers to satisfy our sense of morality?
