    Hi,

We have a STG currency acc with your business treasury business.
Want to change the signatories on the account as people are leaving the company.

What is the procedure and where do I get the necessary forms from?

    Thanks

    Hi stonecipher,

Thank you for contacting us here on Boards.ie.

You will need to send a written letter of instruction on your companies headed paper and request any changes to signatories you wish to make.

    The address is:
    Global Markets Documentation Unit,
    2nd Floor
    Cabinteely operation centre,
    Dublin 18

If you need to contact them directly you can do so on 1890252764.

    Hope this helps,

    Thanks,

    Tara C

What information is required on the letter?
For example, would the following be sufficient?

    Dear Bank of Ireland,

Account details - name, number sort code

The current signatories on this account are Bill and Ben.

Please remove Ben, and include Jill.
    Jill's full name.

    Signed:
    Bill's signature
    Ben's signature
    Jill's signature

    Hi Voices Together,

Thanks for your post and welcome to Boards.ie.

The previous reply refers to a global markets currency account. Do you hold this type of account or is it a Euro business current account? If it is a global markets account, what you have suggested above is sufficient for the letter.

If the account is in Euro and held in an ROI branch, you need to arrange an appointment with your business advisor to change account signatories. The new signatory will need to bring photo id and proof of their home address to the appointment.

To book an appointment simply text Meeting to 50365.

Hope this helps but if you have any other questions, please let me know.

    Thanks
    Tara

    Hi,

Just wondering if you could help. We have an old ICS Building Society Business Depositlink Account which is held through Bank of Ireland. This is an asset that belonged to a company which my company purchased a few years ago.

Unfortunately both of the signatories on the account no longer work with the company and the current business address on the account was never updated. We are now looking to gain access to this account and change the signatories and update the Business address.

Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks
