    Hello,
I'll be staying in a hotel in Gorey at the start of july. What beach can you recommend for a family with Young kids. Obviously a sand beach is a must. Also are all beaches easily accessible by road and parking?

Morriscastle is a super beach, head for Kilmuckridge and it's signposted from village.

Thank you. Just googled and its a 25 min drive from the hotel. Judging form the pictures this beach will be well worth it. Is parking close to the beach?

Reasonable parking at Morriscastle unless there's a heatwave. Courtown is probably the best for parking but sadly Courtown is not what it was. Coastal protection works have been going on for many months now and unless there's a decision to suspend them for the summer, access to the beach will be restricted, worth the five minute drive to check what's happening though as Morriscastle has little in the way of amenities unless you drive to Kilmuckridge which is the best part of two miles. If it's just sand and sea you want you could also check out Ballymoney and Castletown but neither is great shakes for parking.
