Caption of man being slapped on face 'First Dates' program

Did ye guys notice this on the First Dates Ireland program? If the woman doesn't like the man, it shows a caption of man being slapped on face by the woman. It shows this on the original British version of the show, and I assume it's on the Irish show too. It's a bit much I think. Is it because they know more women watch…

It's a bit much I think. Is it because they know more women watch the show? Think about what signal it's sending to young men! It's basically saying that you should be afraid of rejection.
