Always thought he was a bit of a knob, and was completely against the whole shenanigans, but come on Max!

    Dani's rear tyres gone?

Unfortunately, he has it in the bag if he doesn't screw up. Good driver but absolutely terrible guy, and to be honest a horrific example for young people - everything handed on a silver plate by being a knob. But well done today.

It's likely no one younger than him will ever win

Wonder will the Ferrari boys lift him up on their shoulders on the podium.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,990 ✭✭✭Cool_CM

A prime example of how far Ferrari have fallen behind, it was theirs for the taking. Great drive by Max, though!

Any younger, we'd need to look into the pedal cars championship at the local creche.

I so don,t like Red Bull. That win should have been Dannil Riccardo,s or Dannill Kvyats not that spoilt little child. Not a great race really. One to delete and forget about except for the beginning.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

    Jos Verstappen with nosebleed.
I guess someone was doing some hugging of Jos Verstappen in celebration and did what Ted Cruz did to his wife by elbowing her head....

It's Catalunya. The track is now a classic, but except for the first couple of years helped by strange situations (1991 saw an odd one-race Ferrari resurgence with Prost fighting Mansell all along, 1992 it was raining cats and dogs) it actually never fails to deliver boring, precessional races. Even without the currently dominating team :(

Also, this is the track where Maldonado won!

Did they check Max for ID before handing him the champagne?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,904 ✭✭✭✭skipper_G

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,252 ✭✭✭Sterling Archer

What'll happen if Max was to win in Austin Texas? (21)... No champagne? :P

TBH I don't know a lot about Max. Why do you think he's a terrible person?

Interesting choice of interviewer there - in case you don't know, Placido Domingo is a famous Opera singer, one of the original Three Tenors.

If you think someone with very little command of english makes for an interesting interviewer

Verstappen helps take some attention away from the Mercedes mess.

He shouldn't be there. Only people from inside F1 should do these interviews. Calling him Marcus Verstappen. Idiot.
