Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Man Utd will still win but there is not much to play for.

Hopefully a bit of explosive action tonight, the more kids we play the better.

Bournemouth are decent so there won't be much in it, I'm going for 19 nil United

Any chance this game can be abandoned permanently? We don't deserve any more punishment from Van Gaal's philosophy this season.

If united stick with lvg it would be a bigger mistake than arsenal sticking with Wenger.

A full strength team, just before the final. What a idiot. I can't wait till he finally ****s off.

I'm amazed that he's gone full strength in what is essentially a dead game. Why risk injuries 4 days before the cup final? I see he's getting it with both barrels in the match thread on RedCafe.

That's the line up of an idiot. There's nothing to be gained from tonight but now everything to lose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,848 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

He should have pulled Smalling and Martial for this game at the very least FFS.

Apparently, if utd get a point tonight, they qualify for the group stages of the EL (no qualifier), which is a handy fallback if they lose the cup final (they won't).

He will. When they go down injured.

You'd expect it not to be a very competitive game so I wouldn't have much issue with playing a strong team. I'm sure all those players would rather play than be sitting on their hands getting nervous about Saturday. Of course the manager is taking the risk of the likes of Martial picking up another muscle injury and in that case he will be open to criticism.

Someone remind me, how much possession do we need to finish above City?

I don't think too many care about qualification for the Europa. Avoiding a qualifier is handy for the pre season.

CL or nothing in Europe for me. I'd rather miss the EL altogether next season and concentrate on getting into the top 4.

One way or another this must be the most costly league game ever played.

Utd would want to hurry up and start scoring. They need one every 4 minutes at this stage. If it gets to needing one every 3 minutes id start to worry that cl football might be slipping away if i was a utd fan.

White and northern European mostly. :)
