Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What does your favourite team need to do during the summer

As a Man Utd fan its

1)Sack LVG or he leaves by mutual consent (has to go anyway)

    2) Hire a proven world class manager (looks like Mourinho)

    3) Hire a director of football

    4) Sign an attacking midfielder (Gareth Bale would be sweet but more likely someone of Saido Manes standard)

    5) Sign a striker (If Mourinho comes I think it will be Ibrahomovic or Morata from Juventus. Might even be Gonzalo Higuain as Mourinho rated him highly when he was at Madrid).

    As a Villa fan

    1) Get a new Owner

    2) Get a new manager

    3) Get new players

that'd be a good start anyway

    Arsenal.

We need a new manager, and that's not happening. So regardless of what happens in the summer transfer wise it's another season of same old same old to look forward to.

Everton : Obviously the manager first. Then he will have a hell of a lot of work to do to replace some of the older players in the squad (Pienaar, Osman, Howard, Hibbert, Baines, Jagelka. Barry plus anyone else who may leave) and also get the best out of whoever stays like Barkley. Stones. Lukaku, Del, McCarthy, Coleman Besic as well as the new signings obviously. Too much work for one window so a year of transition probably lies ahead. But this Summer is huge to get a good start on it.

How the hell is Hibbert still with Everton. He's played 12 league matches in the last 4 years surely he should have been shipped out by now. It's kind of a sad reflection on him as a player that he seems to have shown no interest in playing.

He's involved in coaching these days no?

    I don't think he does.

Perhaps he's also been working as Valdimir Putins body double and can't get enough time off to play for Everton.

    Leeds United.

Get a new owner. Everything stems from this. Until there's some sort of stability and sanity at the club it doesn't matter what plans there may be in place, the madness will simply continue. Cellino has said this week that he wishes he never became involved with the club so hopefully this time he'll actually sell up, unlike the last time he made a similar pronouncement. If he doesn't go quickly we're looking at another new manager this summer, and promises to sign some decent players to get us into the playoffs which will actually turn out to be a couple of Italians nobody's ever heard of and some lacklustre loan signings. It's rarely a lot fun being a Leeds fan, but it's getting seriously depressing at this stage.

Chelsea, not to be sh*t and to win at least 1 pre-season game.

The Euros will probably mean less "big name" transfers happening early but if we can get our house in order early like in summer 2014, we'll be doing well.

Conte has a much bigger task to hit the groud running and in a foreign league too.

We'll be doing well to get top 4 I think.

    Liverpool
    1) Try to get some consistency going in the pre-season games. Hopefully that means consistently good.

    2) New GK. I don't care who we sign as long as he doesn't cost us seemingly a dozen goals a season like Mig does. Mig would be a decent back up, and Bogdan definitely doesn't look like he'll benefit us much anyway.

    3) New Striker. New summer, same situation as we're still relying on a man whose injury rate means he cannot be relied upon. Benteke has to go as he just doesn't look like he suits us at all (which a lot of people knew before he signed anyway).

    4) Sign Götze. I still don't believe any of the rumours, but damn I hope we sign him as he'd be an incredible coup.
