How does Arcam Solo Bar compare to the Q Acoustics Media 4?

    With price cuts the Arcam Solo Bar is now within spitting distance of the Q Acoustics Media 4, I was just wondering how they compare in pure audio quality?

    The fact the Q Acoustics Media 4 has held its value while the Solo Bars price has fallen may be telling but I thought I'd consult the experts.

    To be honest, the Q4 does square up pretty well to the Arcam Solo Bar soundwise, there isn't a massive amount between them.
    The Arcam is currently listed at £499, and the QAC M4 at £299, so a big enough gap between them still

    We have the Q Acoustoic in stock available on a next day service, and the Arcam, I would have to ship from warehouse so 3-5 days
