Regrouting a shower tray

    I got quoted €160 to remove grout from a shower tray and regrout. It seemed really high to me. It was just an internet quote, I don't know the company. What's your view?

    Am based in D3, in case location is rely

    but still for a tiler to
    Call out
    Rake out all the joints
    Remove all silicone
    Clean area
    Regrout tiles
    Silicone corners and tray
    Tidy up.
    I can't see one giving it much interest for less than 150€
    A handy man might do it for less, how much less God knows.

    Get 3 quotes and report back to us.

    but still for a tiler to
    Call out
    Rake out all the joints
    Remove all silicone
    Clean area
    Regrout tiles
    Silicone corners and tray
    Tidy up.

    I agree with above. This a tough job. Removing old grout is a nightmare job. I think quote is good enough
