Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Excuse my ignorance lads, but can I simply purchase the OnePlusX or OnePlus2 direct from the website now? Has the invite system ceased?

Yes has ceased for a while now.

I went with the free shipping and 1 years insurance. Seems there is only one model but 3 colours from the specs in the loop? Graphite was my first choice anyway. I added insurance but wasn't sure if there was a problem because didn't have to pay for it at checkout! Anyhway turns out you have 5 days to pay for it. I went with the one year cover - very reasonable price.

Month's ago for both. They but had a price drop two weeks ago.

The code Marina was working about a month ago when I ordered a Ceramic OPX for my girlfriend. It knocked €80 off it.

How do you know the spec of the phone?

edit: All I can see is "OnePlus 3 Graphite (EU)" no mention of an spec at all!??

A bit on the steep side alright, but didn't the OP2 launch at that price also? :)

Yes has ceased for a while now.

    Thank you.

Really like the look of the OnePlusX :)

Yeah and 20 quid for shipping. Then the price dropped and they introduced free shipping

On the site is live now, but being hammered

Free shipping for the 3 also!
    I ordered it free shipping.
The estimated difference was 2 days.

Let's face it, they'll all be on the same boat/plane over after the shipping, so i'll probably get it the same time as people who paid for express shipping :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,122 ✭✭✭BigAl81

    Great,

I just bought a "phone" ;o) Didn't see any options or any link or info on the spec of what was in my cart. What could possibly go wrong ;o)

Now to play the waiting game!

    Cheers,
    Big Al.

I'd like a proper look at the Gold.

Looks a bit too silverish on the few renders they have on the site

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,517 ✭✭✭marcbrophy

Looks like there's a screen protector on it out of the box folks :D

    In The Box

    1x OnePlus 3
    1x Screen Protector (pre-applied)
    1x Dash Charge Type-C Cable
    1x Dash Charge Adapter
    1x SIM Tray Ejector
    1x Quick Start Guide

Thats only a thin cover. They had the same on the OP2.

It's not really though. It's cheaper than the OP2 at launch when you include shipping.

did anyone did anyone pay by PayPal? Did you get an email right away?

    Meh.

For 400, I'll need some in depth reviews first.

That's great if you're always going to be near a power source.
I'd personally prefer 3500+ along with quick charge. Best of both worlds.

Not really in depth, but a review anyway :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,015 ✭✭✭biebiebie

    And no SD card slot?
Strange when Samsung and Google have turned the tables on that aspect.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,015 ✭✭✭biebiebie

That Amoled screen does look good though.
And a black theme is offered too (like the X) which should help conserve battery life.

Overall I really like the design itself, very HTC like which is a great complement IMHO

Just ordered. Read a review there and apparently only the cable and plug with it will activate the dash charge. Kinda wish I got another charger now but didn't see how much they were. Im sure 3rd party ones will be on amazon soon. Got the leather flip case for €19.95.

Does anyone know much about the insurance (I skipped it)? Does it cover accidental screen damage, etc? Is it fix or replace, once in the year or unlimited?

Will vodafone 4G work on the OnePlus 3?

From their website, the global model supports:

    WCDMA: Bands 1/2/5/8
    FDD-LTE: Bands 1/3/5/7/8/20
    TDD-LTE: Bands 38/40/41

From what I can find on their website, Vodafone has 4G spectrum in the 800MHz (20), 900MHz (8) and 1800MHz (3) ranges.

    TIA.

OK I ended up waiting on the general sale at 8pm and snagged one there, added the fast charger too for work.

Will probably get two in the post now...

one thing of note, the email line (via the app) gets you the EU model but buying from oneplus direct gets you the UK version... whats the difference I wonder

Anyone who pay with paypal have "You have orders which have not yet been paid." when you check your orders?

Nice, glad it worked for you in the end :)

I didn't realise that any accessories were there for it, and I was worried that the phone I had in my cart might time out, so I rushed the purchase and missed out on cases and extra chargers! Probably better off for my wallet anyway :D

I imagine it's just that you'd get a UK plug vs a stupid 2 pin EU one. I better not get a fcuking 2 pin plug with mine

Lol yea let's hope you don't... or they may do sane aslast time and send out UK chargers after the phone comes.

This timeI got the email from PayPal right away (thank F$&#) it arrives two days before my birthday so I'm chuffed with that. :)
