Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Unless you have a monthly account with one of the big suppliers like Air Products or BOC, then welding and other gases are very expensive, as you have to pay for the bottle too.

One of the common ones is the 5% CO2 called Argoshield or Coogar 5 depending on your supplier, but you might be best getting info on a cash account from your nearest dealer.

TIG or MIG welding? Have you an existing BOC account?

Some motor factors offer a rent service where you pay a deposit on the bottle and refills are x amount afterwards. You need to ring around first.

What kind of prices are you getting as is?

Is there a Hobbyweld agent anywhere near you?:

Here's an option that does not require a monthly rental charge.

Note that the 9 litre is only 137 bar compared to the 20 litre at 200 bar meaning that the 20 lit actually has 3.24 times more gas.
