Perhaps a little cheeky cross-posting a 2.1 Diesel here - but it is a (Mild) Hybrid!

132 Mercedes E300 Hybrid. More efficient than most around town, and still maintains good efficiency vs petrol on a longer run.

225k km, Full MB service history, auto-parking, and lots of extras. Asking €18,000 but open to offers.

What sort of battery in it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,991 ✭✭✭kirving

    20kW, 0.8kWh, 120V, Lithium Ion

It's actually placed under the bonnet (to minimise HV cabling I guess), with the 12V normal battery under the boot floor.

Particularly nice to drive in traffic as the motor will pull away without the irritation of constant stop/start or diesel rattle at low revs.

Ebay/adverts or if new try the specialist electric car dealers.....

my leaf for sale, had it 4 years and never looked back after going electric. upgrading for more range on my 50k a year commute.

Going to go electric! Wish me luck...

About to view a 30kwh 2016 Leaf Acenta with 46,000 miles tomorrow. It's 14,500 euros, seems reasonable. Has both cables, and a Nissan FSH. 1 previous owner.

Think I might buy this one... anyone have any tips? I have Leafspy and a dongle with me to check the battery SOH.

    Edit: It's a non-Nissan car dealer

    Any interest as of yet?
I thought it would have sold fast at that price.

not too much! The blue is definitely an issue for some. I'll probably trade it in next week so the next time you see it, it will have 2k on top!

its a great car, i've done 100k in it and no issues at all.

How much will you get for it on the trade-in though?

About 6 months back I was offered €7500 from a Hyundai dealership (looking at a Kona) for a 142 Leaf, with all capacity bars, and 42,000km on the clock.

It's good that it has the newer battery, but it's a bit overpriced if I'm honest. Electricautos had a 141 SV for sale recently for €9k. And that comes with a decent warranty, not a private sale.

    I have to agree.

I sold my 141 SVE a year ago for just under €10k.

This is only SV spec, 2 years older (1 year older and 1 year later) and has higher mileage than mine.

i think that was a sale on behalf of a customer, so no warranty included and it was only a 3.3kw.

i priced mine in line with what was on done deal at the time, if it was the cheapest on there then people would think something was wrong with it. i admit it is near the top of the price bracket based on what is currently for sale and i may revise that at the weekend.

I think it's bang on the money except for the high km and bar lost.
If it were 40k km with 12 bars instead of 140 with 11...

Prices have increased though. I sold my 141 SVE in January for 11k.
    77k km and 11 bars.

How does this look for a first time EV purchase?
    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/nissan-leaf-ev-sv-automatic-low-mileage-here-at-m/23012761

What is the process for getting the charging points installed, worried I may end up buying an EV and not being able to drive it for a while :(

€14k for a 2015 24kWh Leaf is ridiculously expensive. It's not even an SVE. Get Phil Fitzgerald from electricautos.ie to source you one.

You can granny charge from a normal household outlet and gain 100km range every 12 hours plugged in, which might be OK for the first few weeks. You can apply for the grant without knowing the reg of the car and you can get quotes while waiting on the grant. If you are organised probably Max a month to get charger and you could even have it installed before car arrives, but need photos of car to get 600 euro refund.

The bit that goes into the car can be different. You need a type 2 granny cable for a Golf GTE.

A Leaf uses Type 1 so no use to you.
