Retro Gaming Tournaments at The Back Page every Thursday

    I've set up website and Facebook page, to host retro gaming Tournaments around Dublin and hopefully leagues if it kicks off.
    We've started with running Tournaments every Thursday night at The Back Page bar on Phibsboro road, about a 15 min walk from O'Connell street.
    We've recently held GoldeneEye, Mario Kart 64 and Street Fighter II Turbo Tournaments there.
    We're holding another Street Fighter II Turbo Tournament next Thursday May 26th, and have Mortal Kombat II on the Mega Drive, Mario Kart on the N64 and SNES, Tekken 3 on PS1 and a couple more lined up for the coming months.

    We're up again with an N64 GoldeneEye Tournament after the Euro's, July 14th. We're doing a 2 player team event so grab a mate and head along if this was one of your games! Check out details below.

    Date/Time: Thurs 14th July 2016 8:30pm
    Venue: The Back Page
    Price: Team entry of €15 on the night, or €10 for first 10 teams to snap up early bird tickets online. *Price pays for two players
    Prize: Boxed N64 + GoldenEye Game to cause unholy row between winners

    Game Details:
    Scenario: 2 v 2
    Weapons: Teams Pick*
    Level: Teams Pick*
    Characters: Teams Pick* (No Oddjob!)
    Length: 5 Min Early Rounds, 10 Min Later Rounds
    Health: -4 (Veteran)
    *A Coin Toss decides who has first choice of either weapons, level or characters, with 2nd choice going to the other team and final choice coming back to the coin toss winners.
