Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not a classic cup final, but utd won't give a damn about that. And rightly so. The end justifies the means. Congratulations to them.

Wins cup from behind with 10 men.
It'd be incredibly churlish to sack him now?

Today? Sure. Before next season? No way.

He's just finished fifth in the league after spending hundreds of millions and struggled to beat a side that were threatened with relegation. This shouldn't save him.

And i see he did not quote my other two posts saying it looks like i will get the best 10 mins of the game when it was at 80 and then saying it was some strike to win a cup final, selective quotes to suit his personality

The better team won to be fair. Now keep Van Gaal.

^^ Mick. In fairness, Clattenburg had a shocker today. Nothing "bitter" or "salty" at all about it.

    Deserved. For a few reasons.

The winning goal was a superb piece of quality. Best thing all game.

The second best was Rooney's run for the first.

As slow and predictable as Utd's football was, at least they tried to play at times. Palace were so turgid.

Anytime Pardew doesn't win a trophy is a good day.

Masochist :pac: although by all accounts Shearer was no better. I had 5 live commentary on the red button, much much better than BBC TV commentary

If the BBC are reporting it it's as good as done.

I don't like the man, but still, I'm hoping the United job will encourage him to up his standards of conduct and become a person of true class, to match his record of success

I would have thought it's fairly obvious why.

So you think De Gea conceding a goal is because his head "isn't at United" whatever that means,

Yeah 78th mins into an FA cup final and he was thinking about Madrid, that must be why he conceded

    Ridiculous

Sorry I worded that wrong, I didn't actually mean you :D

What I meant to say is anyone who actually thinks that is an idiot,
