The Luas is on strike on Friday which is going to cause all sorts of issues. One option could be to park near/at one of the train stations on the north side, drive there, get the train into Clontarf or Connolly, walk to stadium, then to reverse on the way home.

What motorway are you coming in on...the M7 from Limerick, or the M6 from Galway?

AFAIK he's playing 7 til 10, so there will be plenty of time to get buses to public car parks afterwards. Quickpark up by the airport would cost you 7.50 and you can get any of a number of buses afterwards to the entrance of the carpark. From there you can easily access the M50.

16, 33, 41, 41b, 41c from the Drumcondra end, 27b from the Ballybough/North Strand end of Croker - all stop at the Carlton hotel/Quickpark.

There's free parking in the park & ride car park at Whitehall Church.

Easy access from the M50. Come off at exit 3, head towards the city, (mind the change in the speed limit), after about 2 miles you will see a huge red-brick church on the left.Turn left at the lights, and then left again into the car-park. Lots of people use this car-park all week, pretty safe, but you know yourself, don't leave any valuables visible in any parked car.
Outside you can get any number of buses to Croke park for €2.00, or to the City for €2.70 if you arrive very early. After the Concert, the Drumcondra road will be Bedlam, Buses are not allowed to stop outside the Train Station. So you will have to walk a small bit, to either the previous bus-stop on Dorset St. or towards the stop at Fagan's Pub. By the time of the last buses, all the traffic should have cleared, so you will still get a bus up to 11.35 at Drumcondra Station. Hope this helps.

Enjoy the concert. I'll be there too, but fortunately I live near enough that it's only 10 minutes away.:D

The Luas strike has been called off, so park at the Red Cow Park & Ride. Or at one of the other red line car parks. You'd want to get there pretty early though.

Luas is till terminating at Jervis due to cross city section on O' Connell Street. Until late July.

I'm sure the OP is well capable of the two minute walk from the Jervis stop, up to O'Connell St. :)

Will Taxis be able to get anywhere close to Croke Park? Asking for my Dad. He has a degenerative muscular disorder and wouldn't really be capable of walking for a distance longer than 20 or so minutes. Thanks in advance.

Worst case scenario the taxi will get to Gills on the NCR, at the junction with Jones' Road (3 min walk at most). But the guards should allow the taxi down Jones' road, if the driver flags your Da's condition.

Thanks for that. 20 or so minutes would be fine, less would be great but otherwise he will mange :)

If you are taking the Luas after the concert, just remember that the Connolly, Busaras and Abbey St stops aren't functioning. You'll need to head to the Jervis stop, to catch a tram to Heuston, the Red Cow etc etc

There is a specially designated entrance for wheel chair users at the A2 gates of the Cusack stand. They have lifts there too, to take you up to the seating levels. Even though your dad isn't in a wheel chair, I'm sure the stewards would oblige, if he explains his mobility issues to them. There are also a number of dedicated stewards at Croke Park, who have voluntarily undertaken specific disability awareness training and are deployed to appropriate locations within the stadium. If your dad requests their assistance, they can direct him to the best spot to get a taxi from. There is no way a taxi will be let down Jones Rd immediately after the show, when there are 80,000 odd people trying to exit the stadium.
