iTunes backup

I want to upgrade my phone but want to backup my photos etc on my current phone. I don't have iOS (no space on iPhone-it's old lol) so I can't back on iCloud or Vodafone backup so I'm trying to do it on iTunes. However, my laptop decided to upgrade to windows 10 which isn't user friendly and doesn't give the pop up box…

I've tried searching in windows for the option to backup iTunes but to no avail.

Any help Etc would be much appreciated as this is wrecking my head

Have you tried opening iTunes and then clicking on the iPhone when you connect it? You don't need the Windows autoplay box to appear.
